2006 Prince Gallitzin Cross Award Recipient

Charles J. Mogish, of Saint Agnes Parish, Lock Haven, nominated by Father Jozef Kovacik, pastor, is called “a spiritual and intelligent man with great love for God and His people.”  Mr. Mogish has served on the parish finance council, and is particularly noted for his support for Catholic education, and in particular for his devotion to Lock Haven Catholic School .  He is chairman of the school’s endowment fund, and has also been a board member of the Foundation for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Altoona - Johnstown .  “Charlie,” says Father Kovacik, “wants to bring more and more valuable and positive things into our community.  He is a man of God who loves the Church and its mission.”
